Guys, i'm thinkin of gettin another car. After crashing my car into that fence i see how much our cars are worth to the insurance company(thank god i didnt have to deal with them), but the estimate was right around $2000, just by side swiping my car on a fence! The insurance company would have totaled my beloved 4 door, but i didnt report it. Anyway, I'm definetly gonna get a 5th gen hatch, hopefully by the end of the year and prep it for a B16 or B18c swap. Now to my question, which of these swaps is more econimical and which would i be able to get the most bang for my buck out of? Oh yeah, dont worry, i am planning on keeping the 4 door and fixing it up, i figure i wouldnt be able to get jack shit for it, so it'll run till it dies! I love my 4g

For your fifth gen hatch go for the 3G GS-R motor, it bolts right in and generates 170hp I think. Keeping you within the 13-14's which is awesome Heavily modded would be awesome too, of all cars I would persoannly go for a 5th gen hatch, if you havnt seen it theres a video of one beating a Ferrari F355 and another beating a 2001 Corvette...

B18c or b18c1 would be the best choice. You can't beat the torque of the b18 and it should make that 5th gen hatch scoot. I would try to pick up a CX model.
